Southwind Garden Club GPAC Floral Design

The Southwind Garden contributed to the

GPAC IRIS Program

on Saturday evening, October 13, 2012

with this beautiful floral design.

 

Floral Designer is GaNelle Ballard posing for a photograph with the Maestro

for the local newspapers. They are taking instructions from Pat Smith.

 

District 1 Flower Show October 2, 2012

Southwind Garden Club had a successful showing at the District 1 Flower Show.



 

 

 

District 1 Meeting October 2, 2012

 

 

 

The District 1 October 2, 2012 Meeting was held at the

Dixon Gallery and Museum.

The day was gorgeous and so were the grounds.The meeting

was held in the Museum with a lunch following catered

by a Green Fork restaurant

Just for Lunch.

 

After the Lunch we strolled down to the  Distrist 1 Flower Show, also held on the grounds.

As you can see we passed some beautiful sights.

Southwind Garden Club September Meeting

The Southwind Garden Club held it's September Meeting at the home of member

Marsha Cayce.  Our speaker was Joan Doty who spoke on the subject of

Elements of Design in preparation for the upcoming

District 1 Flower Show.

Southwind Garden Club August Meeting 2012

The August Meeting of the Southwind Garden Club was held at the home of

member Cecilia Cordeiro.  We were introduced to our Scarecrow entry for the

Lichterman Scarecrows 2012 Project by  Debbie Richmond 

with the Bronzed Man she designed for entry. 

 

Patty Calvert was our presenter and gave us a lot of information to help us with

our entries for the District 1 Flower Show that will be held October 2, 2012.
